Polymechanic
Polymechanics operate the most advanced CNC-controlled machines. High-precision part manufacturing, programming, tool design, measuring, and inspection make for an exciting and versatile profession.
Apprentices specializing in assembly read production drawings, assemble machine parts into complete grinding machines, develop new solutions as a team, and document assembly processes.
Duration of apprenticeship: 4 years
Automation Technician
Automation technicians electrify our grinding machines, build complex control panels, wire CNC controls, robots, and peripherals. They parameterize CNC controls, solder circuit boards, and create electrical schematics.
An electrifying task that brings joy.
Duration of apprenticeship: 4 years
Design Technician
Design technicians develop assemblies in 3D at state-of-the-art CAD workstations. They design complete grinding machines and the associated automation. They also create production drawings and bill of materials for manufacturing or exchange data with suppliers. Modern product data and document management supports administrative tasks.
