Live from the GrindingHub, Day 2: Sirius NGS, The indexable tool specialist with a new fixturing for grinding insert periphery.

SCHNEEBERGER trade show highlight: The Sirius NGS with Anvil Clamping! The clamping system opens up new possibilities in the highly efficient machining of inserts and cubic workpieces. Precise and repeatable!

At GrindingHub, for the first time SCHNEEBERGER presents the newly developed Anvil Clamping to the attendee public: A rhombus plate is automatically loaded and machined grinding the periphery in one clamping. The K-land of constant width proves quality at the highest level. The openly selectable geometry of the interchangeable Anvil rams allows an enormous variety of workpiece geometries to be machined.

Change over to other standard fixturing (Pin, Reference Plate or Cartridge clamping) remains possible without restriction. At the same time, the established 6-axis CNC grinding machine shines with the linear motors and direct drives, large grinding wheels and integrated tool probing system. A configuration for the future!

Stay tuned with SCHNEEBERGER, live from Stuttgart, Hall 10, Booth D30.
