With this machine, the ideal 6-axis kinematic concept has been realized to position small work pieces at the center of the grinding point. The machine axes are equipped with direct scale feed-back, and linear motor technology. Proven manufacturing processes are available for automated lights-out operation. The 6-axis robot from Fanuc, the 2-pallet loader and the optional grinding wheel loader with 7 changing positions ensure the required production machine autonomy.
The spheroidal graphite mono-
block construction enhances
the machines stability to a maximum
and therefore produces a work
piece with the best possible surface
finish. Stable process requirements
are achieved with automatic dressing
cycles, in-process measurement and
wheel probing.
