Calculating the intersecting line between an oval and a conical surface requires mathematical skills. How would that be defined in a parameter based program or in ISO code? Luckily SCHNEEBERGER’s CAD/CAM-software Qg1 can handle it!
The procedure is simple: Import a 3D file, select the surfaces to be ground, choose a grinding wheel and the direction of grinding.
