SCHNEEBERGER Aries NC2 Neo: A classic shines in new splendor
Premiere at LIGNA: the comprehensive retrofit for the globally popular NC2, including new controls and electronics.
Aries NC2 were the most frequently built SCHNEEBERGER grinding machines for over a decade. They are still in daily use at countless tool grinders and woodworking shops. Loved for their reliability, but steadily aging, many of these machines are facing retirement in the near future. Despite good service and solid mechanical engineering, the declining availability of electronic spare parts is having an effect.
At the request of many loyal customers, SCHNEEBERGER is now breathing fresh life into the NC2s: New drives, guides and bearings are only part of this general overhaul. With a new FANUC control, the fresh cell cure results in a grinding machine as good as new in proven SCHNEEBERGER quality. Many more successful years await the Aries NC2 Neo.
