SCHNEEBERGER was present with some of its leading products, including the Aries NGP Production Scara, the Norma NGC with machine integrated loader, automatic wheel loader and CNC wheel dresser and galileo, the tool measurement and pre-setting machine.
Qg1’s innovative STEP interface attracted a lot of interest among the visitors present. Thanks to the possibility of importing a 3D file (STEP or IGES formats), there are no more limits in part geometry. The samples shown at the exhibition demonstrate the special features of this software package: By selecting the surface to be ground, the wheel paths are generated automatically. The wheel profile, as in the example of the 6-teeth-punch, has been fully calculated in Qg1 and realized by CNC-dressing.
