Live from EMO Milan, Day 4: The brand new SCHNEEBERGER NGV900 oil filtration and temperature control system

The new Vasca NGV contributes significantly to the thermal stability of grinding machines, demonstrated at EMO on two high performance grinding machines. Both, the Sirius NGS and Gemini NGM produce real tools and precision parts at the show.

The double circuit temperature control keeps the process as well as the motor cooling media at a precise temperature. Vasca is equipped with four stages of filtration: Magnetic pre-filtration, paper band pre-filtration and two parallel rows of 3 cartridge cylinders each. The process media is pumped with remarkable 90 L/min at 11 bar or optional 175 L/min at 12 bar. Demanding grinding applications require such a powerful flow of temperature stable and clean process media.
