Tool Grinder of the Year 2022: Training at SCHNEEBERGER prepares the Participants
The international trade fair GrindTec is the venue for the Tool Grinder of the Year 2022 competition. During three days, all participants were trained in SCHNEEBERGER hard- and software and are now fit for the competition.
At SCHNEEBERGER headquarters, the five participants learned everything they need to know on the CAD/CAM grinding software Qg1 and the Aries NGP competition machine. Background is their individual knowledge of a wide range of grinding applications from shank and gear cutting tools to ground precision components made of glass. The five participants in the final round in Augsburg:
- Fernando Carrascosa Santos, Schnorr Schleiftechnik GmbH.
- Felix Conrad, Rothenaicher Schneidwerkzeug
- Armin Reich, Gloor Precision Tools Ltd
- Manuel Roth, Duran Glastechnik
- Maximilian Ullermann, Inovatools Eckerle & Ertel GmbH
On March 17th, it all starts: the best tool grinder of the year will be evaluated. The magazine Fertigung reports before and during the competition. Read a preview report with a portrait of all participants by clicking on the following link.
