Cold-forming tools: Production with Qg1
New in Qg1: Rolling dies, flat dies, round dies as well as incremental round segmented dies - Qg1 manages all of them.

Two round dies used for rolling work shafts, ground on a gemini NGM. Tool dimensions each Ø 174 x 50 mm.
Rolling dies for rolling of threads, splines or lubrication grooves can be manufactured with single form discs or segment discs. Typical tool lengths of 1'250 mm present no problem. A SCHNEEBERGER corvusNGB grinds with wheels up to 120 mm width.
Round form tools for rolling threads, spline shafts, screw spindles or worm shafts can also be manufactured with single form discs or segmented discs. Tool diameters of up to 300 mm can be efficiently produced on a SCHNEEBERGER geminiNGM.
The desired wheel form can be entered via parameter using a dxf format file or directly import as a 3D-step file for the form definition. Grinding and dressing cycles can be individually parameterised. Naturally, Qg1 offers a complete 3D simulation of the grinding process.
